My name is Sheila Arrington. I am with Aneurysm Outreach Inc., Prairieville, LA. AOI will be partnering with The Regional Medical Center of Acadiana to provide a free ultrasound screening program for those most at risk of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA-pronounced Triple-A) at RMCA on Saturday, September 24, 2011. AAA is a silent killer – the 3rd leading cause of sudden death in American men. The program is available to those over 60 and also individuals over 55 with a family history of aortic aneurysms.
