This year we are offering the opportunity to sponsor our Annual Kiwanis Regional Spelling Bee. Please take a look at the sponsorship packet below and let me know if your company would like to become a sponsor.

The top two tiers are limited opportunities, so please check with me to see if they have been filled before sending in a check.

In today’s society of spell check and text messaging lingo, the Kiwanis Club of Lafayette and the Kiwanis Club of Acadiana see the need to continue the great tradition of the Spelling Bee. Over 35 schools from the Acadiana area are registered to participate in this year’s Bee and have been preparing for stiff competition.
Individual schools register with the National Scripps Spelling Bee and conduct a Bee within their school. One winner from each of three divisions (3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, and 7th-8th grade) is sent on to the Kiwanis Regional Spelling Bee to compete with area schools. Regional winners receive prizes and the 7th-8th grade
divisional winner and one chaperone is sent on an all-expense paid trip to Washington D.C. to compete in the National Scripps Spelling Bee. Participants surviving the preliminary rounds will compete on live television.
Your help is needed to assist the Kiwanis clubs in continuing and expanding this exciting opportunity for the youth of our area. Please take a moment to consider our sponsorship opportunities found on the following page. We appreciate your support.
